Pulls or knobs on kitchen drawers & doors. I've seen a lot of pulls (handles) on both drawers and doors these days. What do you think?

This is what I have on all of my drawers and doors. Dekkor "in" edge pull.

I just ordered bar pulls and cup pulls from myknobs.com They are Top Knobs Asbury collection. I saw them in Mgkinz kitchen and thought they looked great! I think they are a great alternative to the RH hardware at half the price!

I also used Amerock Revitalize (ORB on white cabs). I almost went with their Highland Ridge instead but am so glad I didn't. The Revitalize project out more than most other pulls, so they are easier to grab, resulting in less wear and tear on your cabinets since you shouldn't end up grazing them with your fingers like you might with other pulls. They don't look like they are bigger though - they are just very elegant.

I have 2 of the 12" pullouts mentioned above. They use 12" maximera drawers connected by a metal shaft in the back, and one set of drawer pulls. If you purchased a second set of drawer pulls, you could easily turn this into a 2 drawer cabinet. I'm debating about this right now. The only drawback I see is that one edge of the drawer front would be raw, and show the drawer material. If I do this, I will use veneer to cover the raw edge and make the edge the bottom of the drawer fronts.

I also did knobs on doors and pulls on drawers. I used a knob on my 6" pullouts b/c the pulls were too big for the pullouts.

If you like pulls on doors, then go ahead and do it. It's really an aesthetics preference, not functional...either will work.

Being a home builder, when we finish inventory homes we typically use all knobs to give a uniform look however, it is all a personal preference. We used to put knobs on doors and pulls on drawers.
