I think it looks cool with the light. My husband is concerned that it doesn't have a spray. I am wondering if it is necessary. Did you buy yours online? Did you get a soap dispenser?

Anyone interested in a light in their faucet should look at the Blanco Master Ilux. Light is turbine driven (no electric needed) and changes color with water temperature.

According to what I have read the Eve does have a pull out sprayer but i have never seen one in person.

Thank you for the info on the Blanco. The Eve has a pull out aerator but it doesn't have the spray feature. Just wondering how important that is...

Mine is not installed yet, so I can't speak to the spray feature being a problem and I did not get the soap dispenser. I got mine on ebay - arrived still sealed in the KWC box in perfect condition.

Mine isn't installed yet, either (KWC Edge). I received it on Friday from an eBay seller. Beachcomber, did you see the Eve in person? I saw a few KWC's at a local upscale plumbing store but could not beat eBay prices. Installation is scheduled for the 30th, after the granite and sink.

I did see the Eve. I love its sleek look but my husband would like it to have the spray feature along with the aerator. SO I guess it is back to the drawing board. Maybe the Systema would be the answer....

The Eve without the light has a sprayer. The salesperson told me the reason the lighted one does not is that the place where the spray would be has the light instead. Would be helpful if they at lest offered it with a side spray.

No, but I was pricing it and looking into it.
I went to a plumbing showroom and they carried mostly Grohe faucts. I can't remember for sure but they either had the Eve facet or said they could order it. When I asked about the sprayer in the lighted version they explained what the issue was. I just liked the lighted version much better, I thinks it neat, a high "cool factor" that makes the price a little more palatable, but felt I needed a spray, and for the prices, I would need to be getting both, so I crossed it off my list. Sadly, though.

FYI, I found the best prices by calling Faucet depot. They will go below thier web site prices, will usually match any other web price you find. I reseached all the places mentioned on this forum, then called FD and asked for their BEST price. Sometimes it was lower than any price I had found on the internet. When it wasn't, I mentioned where I found it cheaper and for how much and they verified the price online and matched it. I was ordering many items, including sink, sink accessories, faucet and some smaller items, so I then asked if they could do any better if I ordered everything and they obliged with a further small discount. So I got better prices in the end in one place than if I went with the lowest price I could find on each item and ordered from several different places. I advised someone else on this forum to at least submit an "offer" to faucet depot on the website, even though those prices are higher than what they will give you online, and she said she did, it was accepted and she had ordered it there. I received a letter turning down my online offers and offering a higher price than I was able to get on the phone. So if you decide to get it, don't just go by the listed online prices, with minimal effort, you can a better price on it.

Fed Ex tracking tells me my faucet depot order is due to arrive tomorrow. So I will be able to tell you better after that how happy I am with the transaction.

Thought I posted here but it didn't show up! I got some great info from Sue a couple of months ago and ended up getting the Eve (ss, no light) for $550 from faucet depot through the make an offer feature. I've bought at least three things from them with speedy service, great prices and no problems. Guess I'd be out of luck with the warranty though. I didn't realize that until I read this post and decided to check out the KWC website...

I loooooooove the way it looks. I won't be installing it for a couple of weeks. It was just one of those things that after I found it I just couldn't get it out of my head. Let us know what you choose!

Tracy, why would you be out of luck with the warranty?

I ordered the Brizo Floriano in chrome, with the soap dispenser and it was under 300.00. AND it does not have a plastic spray head, which bothered me about the Grohe, and was not over 500.00, which the Newport Brass pull down was, even discounted. The Eve, the Brizo, the Grohe Bridgeford and the Newport Brass pull down were the ones I was choosing between. I went with the chrome because I am afraid I will tire of the stainless steel throughout the kitchen as I tend to the more traditional or transitional in style than modern and it would be more "neutral" if I change my knobs and fixtures later on to another finish.

What I loved about the Eve was the sleekness of the style, not as chunky, and so doesn't look so overwhelming in size as many of the new large pulldowns.

They will only support "authorized dealers" and they specifically exclude internet sales. Claim they will ask for proof of purchase. I didn't realize that but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it performs as well as it looks :)

The warranty says to check with them to see if they are authorized. Home and Stone says they are but I will call to confirm.

The Brizo looks like a beauty too. Are you happy with the way it works?

I called KWC and they said that they would honor the warranty if it is a Home and Stone internet sale.

I would definitely call to find out instead of assuming there is no warranty.

I just went to the Faucetdepot web site used "live chat" to ask. This is what they said:

Me: Are you an authorized dealer for KWC?
FD: Yes we are. We are a stocking distributor.
Me: Will they honor the warranty since their website says it excludes internet sales?
FD: We have never had a case where they refused to honor the waranty. We buy directly from the factory and stock their products in our warehouse.

Thought you might like to know that. I would, of coarse, verify it directly with KWC anyway.
