Here is a link to a neat web site I found for trims, tassels, etc.

I love tassels and see them in use from time to time. I think they add that little something extra to decor. Tell me, how do you use tassels? How do you know what size to buy for specific applications? I'd love to see and hear your uses for them. Thanks

I am a key tassel-aholic! I've visited the site you referenced above but have purchased most of mine from River Valley Tassels on eBay. (They also have their own site but their prices / shipping are juicier on eBay. Go figure.)

I've a key tassel on practically every door in this house -- a large or extra-large on the front door, and medium or small throughout the rest of the house. The only times the key tassels match is at christmas-time, when they're all green-and-red (duh). Otherwise, I cannot restrain myself and so have a finger in many different (color) pies.

I just love key tassels ....

Tassels are so pretty, I can see how one could be come a tassel addict. LOL

Have you checked out Americanclassifieds (used to be Thrifty Nickel in my area)? They are online and also have paper copies available at grocery and discount stores in large metro areas. Their lawn and garden section usually picks up in the spring/summer but falls off in fall/winter. Its free to read.

Gary and Elaine remind me of the couple from the Taster's Choice ads on TV years ago. Whoever writes the captions manages to find just the right item to comment on and so many times I would have missed the odd thing- like beautiful photo of an all white bathroom with the caption.... "Oh dear, our Q-Tip decanter is almost 1/5th depleted" ....and underneath the stink is a huge glass decanter full of Q-tips - well actually only 4/5ths full. That jug would easily hold over a gallon of liquid. Maire

My name is Sue and I am a tasselholic! I love tassels. I have small tassel tie backs, I have key tassels, and I just bought a boatload of tassels last weekend at Tues Morning! I usually don't shop there but there was one next to the Harbor Freight store that we were in!
I bought at least 10! maybe too many for now but will cycle thru them. I may go back for more! LOL

Another lover of tassels. Although I like more unique ones. Sue - Tuesday AM has some great ones! I recently bought a beautiful gold/aqua (different hues of each color) tassel there. It had strands of tiny beads in it. For those of you who following the Nesting Place blog, she makes tassels. I found a tutorial on line, but have yet to try it. I have a couple on lamps, larger ones on keys in an armoire, larger one also on a key in a china cabinet, one on a key in a secretary, etc., etc., etc. I even have a bunny tassel in my sunroom. I love fabrics and trims.

Count me in on tassel's! I put them on my wrought iron bed (love watching my cat stalk them!).

I didn't realize there were so many tasselholics. Good to know that I can find some at Tuesday AM. Have one right down the street from me.

I'm going to check out the blog and see if the instructions for making them are easy. I've seen the basic instructions and think I could handle that, but I'd really like to learn to make some fancier ones.

ttodd, glad you mentioned the cats because that is my largest concern. Then again they may ignore them. LOL

tina I looked and looked at her blog for the tassel tutorial and I couldnt find it. Looked another day as well. Do you have it cut and pasted you could send or post? thanks, I dont know why I have so much trouble finding stuff on blogs.
