There are several available that are around $200 or more, but I purchased this one (see link) Mine is walnut, not white.

I bought a few shadow boxes from the Pottery Barn outlet for this purpose. They work perfectly!

I just saw one (3 colors available) with a photo collage front in JC Penney catalog. I'm sure you could search their website.

The QVC one is beautiful and just the right shape, but is made for too many things that I donÂt wear, like bracelets and rings. I would have to remove those parts (as I have in my other jewelry boxes) or re-do them and if I have to do that for that much $$ I might as well get something else.

jeanninepc99, how do you use shadow boxes? Are they hinged? I have a few from craft stores but they are not designed to be opened repeatedly.

What about just buying a door like this one at Ikea and then having a frame built for it and then put pegs on the wall itself.

My husband put up two of these for me:

and I really love them. He got the peg board at Home Depot (where they cut them to the size I wanted [2' x 4']). As you can see, many of my necklaces are huge so this is great for accommodating chunky necklaces.

My SIL found a lovely old antique spoon cabinet with a glass door. He removed one row of the racks for longer necklaces to hang, and refinished it to give to my daughter as a birthday gift. They have it hanging on their bedroom wall and it looks really pretty there. The necklaces fit easily into the niches cut to hold the spoons.

What do you use for your earrings? I hardly wear necklaces but I just dump my earring in a jewelry box and thought there might be a better solution.

Here is one idea for an earring holder. I've seen picture frames with plastic canvas or with lace that hold earrings too.

Hello, I am Robin and I'm a jewelry junkie. I have several hundred pieces, no joke!, and it barely fits a free standing armoire that is four feet tall and has 8 or 9 drawers. Even the mailman where I work comes by to see "what wild looking earrings I have on today".

I have an armoire and two other tabletop jewelry boxes with drawers for the earrings. The armoire was a gift from my husband for Christmas a few years ago. Like most armoires on the market, there really is not that much space inside. He picked it out so didnÂt realize its shortfalls. It has a couple of deep drawers on the bottom that are useless for jewelry. The top lifts for one area about 10 x 10 inches, and then there are 4 drawers underneath. Not nearly enough space. The earrings are more or less layered a couple deep in there. The favorite earrings go into the easier access smaller jewelry boxes. I used to use the top drawer of my dresser laid out inside with divider trays. But that is full and most of those are vintage or styles that are too big now. IÂm thinking about redoing it for more space but hate to just give away such great earrings. I need to find a place to sell the vintage-almost vintage.

For earrings:
Have you ever seen in jewelry stores in the cases those black trays with small square dividers in them? Those are available from most store display companies, and all jewelry display companies. The trays are heavy fiberboard covered with black leatherette and come in standard sizes so inserts will fit any companyÂs tray. Full size insert is 14-1/8" x 7-5/8". IÂve linked below to one trade companyÂs offerings but I have seen these on Ebay too. The inserts are thin flexible molded plastic, grey or black, flocked, but I use the inserts without the tray, cut out and fitted to my drawers. I have a couple of shallow inexpensive birch plywood drawer units from Ikea I may fit out with the inserts, if I can figure out where to put them.

For the necklaces I donÂt have a place to "hide" them so I need something pretty attractive. I bought some rubbermaid shallow drawers to try out inside my closet but if I have to open several drawers to find the one I want, I find it doesnÂt happen. I really want to see the whole necklace collection all at once, and to see the length at a glance.

They are available with different numbers of compartments, but the outside dimensions are the same to fit into those standard trays mentioned. More compartments equals smaller sized sections.

Here are two of my own solutions for keeping jewelry orderly. The first is actually a flatware holder, that I found at a dollar store. Since I detected some eyebrow-raising and tongue-clucking from those who don't understand us who have an abundance of jewelry, I'm not going to tell you how many of these I have.
