Orange/rust bricks w/black specs, black windows - help on trim pl

Orange/rust looking bricks with black spots. What color of trim? Maybe Squirel can help. I'm looking at the concepts in color mini fan deck. #'s 41 & 42, but am lost. This is for resale so the public's opinion really does matter. Please help... It's been awhile since I've posted. I need to re-figure out how to add a photo for everyone to see.

I actually like what you have. if you want to lighten things up, then stick w/the autumn tones for the shutters and the doors. any of these color combos are mix and match. if you want to go lighter, try one of these on the shutters, and one on the door. below I used london fog and apple cider on the shutters, and a very orange/rust color for the front door.(Try BM Gold Rush for a similar hue) for the door, try one of these. yes, even the purple would look great. to highlight the entrance area, think about bringing in some gold or brass on the lighting and door hardware. looks great w/your orange brick. Even copper colored lighting fixtures would really amp up that front walkway. the other shade you can try is green. try a darker green on the shutters and lighter on for the door. or use the rust colors any of these darker greens would also work. teal is also nice w/your brick color . getting a door w/glass in it will allow more light and keep it from looking like a cave at the entry.

I would pick one of the colors in the brick columns. You could leave the door the current color but I think you need to tone down the trim colors. It draws the eye away from the front door. I limewashed the brick using 1 quart of Romabio Bianco White. Let me tell ya, I used every last bit. A quart should cover 100 sq. feet of brick. I had 87 sq. feet. I really like the limewash because it's not just one solid block of white brick, the kind of look paint would give. The limewashed brick is more variegated. I had planned on spraying off some of the limewash, but after I applied it, I liked the look and just left it "as is." I really like how it turned out. Thank you, everyone for your help!

Here is the link, but your photo is really small. Hard to tell, but I think I would go with a beige color.

We must have posted at the same time. Now that I see a close-up, I would go with a gray trim to match the grout. Or, as I said before, a beige family color.

Thank you for your attention. This is a forclosure we just purchased to fix up and sell. I only have three exterior photos that I shot before the camera died. You can kinda see how orange/rust it is by seeing the neighbors redish brick. Thanks for your time.

I have similar brick on my house.

A clean white trim is refreshing, as well as light and airy. If the color of the grout is too dark, I'd consider an ivory color.

I have a deep forest green door and trim on my back porch next to the brick. It looks great. A lighter sagey green--lighter, but still rich--is something I've considered, too.

A lighter, sage green does sound pretty, or as happyintexas and I suggested, a beige/ivory color. What color is the front door currently? Black or dark green?

One suggestion? I'd pressure wash the house to find the "true" color of the brick before picking my final color for the trim.

That color is the same one at my house! We had painted the siding and trim in a paler ivory color -- but now the color is a deeper sage/olive green -- with a lot of gray in the shade. As you can tell in the photo -- we also painted the front door in a glossy black.

Thanks!! The flowers and herbs (both in pots and in the garden) have actually managed to stay alive this year -- thanks to slightly cooler (and now chilly! LOL!) temperatures around Dallas! The silk flowers in the large half-basket have been replaced with fall ones -- always a nice change!

Of course the front door area is now filled with spooky Halloween decor! LOL!
