Painting the faux tile in the bathroom HELP
Comments (1)My bathroom is awful! Ugly wallpaper and pink faux tile all around-halfway up the wall. Some spots are peeling from water/moisture in the bathroom.. I am new to DIY things .. but I don't have the time or energy to rip down the faux tile (esp. because I don't know what is behind it, or what to do when tear it down) So I was thinking there has to be a way to paint it. And if there is .. should I try to sand down the areas where there is moisture damage or would that make it look worse? I just would like a different color HELP! I can't stand to look at it anymore! Thank you!...See MorePainting faux brick paneling
Comments (6)I want to "brick" a small wall myself and even though I typically despise this stuff, I was wondering if it could be made to looks real by painting it, as old brick is often painted over. Can you post pics when you're done? I'd really be interested in your reviews of it once painted....See MoreHelp !!! ASAP !! Problem with faux painting remake
Comments (2)I would relax about it now and wait until after the party. Then you can do the job right without messing up something that will have to be redone again anyway. Then sand it all off and start over....See MoreHelp !!! ASAP !! Problem with faux painting remake
Comments (1)Patches on previously painted walls MUST be primed before applying any other paint. I strongly advise using oil-based primer. Patching materials absorb paint differently from the previously painted wall and the difference is very visible. The oil-based primer makes the paint "hold out" like it does on the other surfaces....See Morepatty_cakes
