Comments (54)Although it is not your glam, the color is neutral gray and that fits your scheme. I wish there was one w/out the faux FP, but that might be a feature that draws him to it. What will go in it? Glass doors are nice to protect DVD players, etc. https://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/category/collections.jsp?categoryId=cat3850077 change knobs for a glam look https://www.livingspaces.com/pdp-sinclair-grey-74-inch-tv-console-94752?utm_medium=products&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Ci_PLA_Shopping_II&landing=product_listing&lsft=utm_source:google,utm_medium:cpc,utm_campaign:Shopping_Tier_3,adgroup:Furniture_Media_TV_Console&gclid=CjwKCAiA_ojVBRAlEiwAOLRxI7YqPXsPiJjGVJCLi0iQrfVHAy3b-0lXAn0Sqkj58Lnn2SY9f9c_OxoC9tsQAvD_BwE...See MoreStarting from scratch - guest bedroom
Comments (9)What is the style of the rest of your home? With Finland, I tend to associate it with more of sort of a pine/fir nordic look (cabin). I like your picture. It is very tranquil :). An off white nubbly linen headboard might work though and reflect the texture of the birch. ...White or sheer billowy curtains to reflect the breeze through those trees ...watery colored blue green glass lamps to echo the light on the water and the water? I would have suggested a duvet cover I bought from the Company Store a year or so ago that has a texture that reminds me of birch, but sadly it is discontinued. Maybe something from Marimekko? https://www.finnstyle.com/marimekko-pihkassa-bedding.html...See MoreHelp me finish my guest bedroom
Comments (40)@sparkleivy, it's a beautiful and cozy room. I agree that the lamps are short, and since they stay...maybe stack some books under them to add height. Guests could even grab a book to read from the stack..... As for the plants, I think if fresh plants aren't your thing silk plants do attract dust. I don't have them in my house, maybe try succulents, they are pretty easy to grow. I agree with fresh cut flowers for when guests arrive. That wall across the bed doesn't need much, and if space is limited what about some fun ornamental hooks, that guests can use for shirts, hats, jackets? These were just an idea. The tree ones look fun, and earthy and are an interesting design all on their own. The birds were whimsical and may not be your thing, but just thought these wall hooks could be both pretty and useful....See MoreHelp me finish my guest bedroom
Comments (3)You have a restful room and that’s what you should want for a bedroom. I would leave the corners empty, you do not need to fill the space up. A large piece of art for your big blank wall, but get something you love. No flowers for the vase unless they are real....See MoreAnnie Deighnaugh
