I would not go dark green. Your bedding reads dark, and I think it will get lost. If I went green, it would be a really, really pale shade - like a greatly lightened version of the brighter paisley, which looks sorta celery on my monitor. Personally, I'd avoid green & blue alltogether, or you're going to quickly find a limited palette.

I would consider a medium beige on the wall, and brining on some white/cream through pillows and/or sheets. It looks like there's some khaki in that print - go with a coordinating light color. The overall effect might be something like this:

You might also want a pop of silver, especially if you're going with silver hardware on your nightstands when you refinish them. A slightly metallic pillow, bedside lamps...

I would hold off on painting until the furniture was refinished and until you chose a headboard or upholstery fabric.

You have the most options with paint color, so the elements you have already, the furniture and bedding, should drive the paint color, not the other way around.

I'm still searching for a paint color. I have to repaint the Master Bathroom its Revere Pewter, but I'd like that room to coordinate with bedroom. Maybe that could be Quiettude ?
I don't know if a teal bedroom would be a good choice or not, hoping Azores is more of a deep green teal than the aqua the internet pics show, I'll get a sample today. I do think the color would look great with Brazilian Cherry floors, and orange oak. Its rainy ,its cold I'd love to paint this weekend!!

Definitely agree with what the ladies have said previously. I like the photo posted by avesmor...the lighter background color makes the bedding pop. I'd stay away from any dark color.

Quiettude is one of my favorite colors & looks great with cherry. It will also compliment your trim. I would also do the ceiling in Window Pane.

I would do an upholstered headboard or fully upholstered bed in a light neutral (linen might be very nice)Bassett has excellent ones, btw. The fully upholstered beds have such a serene & clean look.

I usually agree that paint color comes last, but in this case I think it's a go.

Maybe linen roman shades to compliment & lime-y accessories.

LOL, we have similar bedding, so I will be asking the same question. OTOH, realistically, the soonest I could probably paint the MBR would either be Christmas break or over summer.

I agree, wait until you have all the other elements you want.

I'd paint the room a lovely spa-type blue that blends with the blue in your duvet cover, and fold your duvet cover at the foot of your bed. It would all look lovely with a white quilt or white matelasse. :)

The coverlet is not blue at all. Should I have SW Mix it to the next shade darker Halcyon?

Here is Azores, do you like the contrast better, why does the flash pull out all the blue, it looks very green on the sample.

Here is a better night picture of quietude and azores, can you suggest any other colors? I really don't want gray. Maybe I should try Azores at 50%??? Thank you for your suggestions.

We have Halcyon Green in our LR. It is darker. I am liking the Quietude.

Love Halcyon too...I'm never opposed to going darker vs. lighter - but of course tones can change in pics. And flashes are rarely your best friend!!! I would take a sham to SW & see what happens with a color match.
