I usually tell my husband what I think about SKs' bad behavior - my SKs are adults, late 20s and early 30s. My husband does not always like to hear my opinions, so I try not to go on and on too much!! Most parents don't like to hear unfavorable opinions about their children. I don't think you should feel embarassed at all, this is a normal reaction - guilt sometimes is good to help us confront our own emotions, and it means you have a conscience, which is always a good thing. I think it would be good to find someone you trust and who is also mature that you can talk to about this. I don't know about your faith, but I talk to God about my resentments and ask Him to help me deal with it the right way. Most of the time, SKs' bad behavior is because of insecurity and jealousy.

thank you for good advice. I am not married and looking at all this don't know if i want to. SKs (call them this way for convenience) are not bad women, but they completely take advantage of their dad and he knows that. It is not SKs" fault but his because he tolerates it out of fear, when he says "no" SKs are very angry. He doesnot know how to relate to grown children. It makes me upset and makes me willing to be somewhere else around holidays. I do talk to my therapist about it.
