I know this is the dumbest thing in the world

but it really irked me for some reason so I just had to post.

Last Friday night bio-mom came to a performance for my SD (it was her EOW) and I was there as I was leading it. I was wearing a tee-shirt from a popular teen and up store, and several girls complimented me on it.

Fast forward to Sunday afternoon when SD had an award ceremony that had been known about for over a month. I got a call 5 minutes before it's to begin from my SD asking if she "needed to be on time." Hello? So an hour later SD came running in. Turns out she had been at the mall with her mother when she called and mom wasn't ready to leave - she had more to try on - and that was obviously more important than her daughter's award. That caused my blood to boil for obvious reasons, but this is very typical behavior.

So what was the last straw for me? To find out that SD was late because her mother was in the store my tee-shirt came from trying on and buying several for herself. SD is no dummy - she knows her mom has never shopped there before and made the connection as quickly as I did.

I don't know why this ticked me off so badly, but it did. I think the whole weekend is a perfect illustration of why I dislike her so.

Okay - now you all can tell me I'm overreacting. Come on TOS - I'm counting on you.
