I don't believe you can leave random feedback on a seller (or buyer), you have to have purchased (or sold) something. Now I suppose I could sell stuff to my friends or create fictitious accounts and write the feedback myself. Of course, you'd be paying eBay a fee for everyone one of those transactions and I have to believe that their security folks might watch for that kind of stuff. I haven't bought or sold much on eBay but what I have has been a positive experience. A few years back I was doing some Internet work for a used car dealer. A customer had mentioned that they had seen the vehicle on eBay. News to us since we didn't use eBay at the time but sure enough someone had "borrowed" the pictures and description of the vehicle from the dealership's website and actually SOLD the vehicle on eBay. I frantically tried to find a customer service phone number for eBay so that they could contact the buyer before he sent any money. Unfortunately, eBay doesn't seem to have a phone number. I sent off an email and then tried to inquire what had happened but eBay would only tell me that the matter was under investigation. The interesting part is that the vehicle was reasonably worth about $16,000 but it had sold on eBay for $9,000. When something seems to good to be true...

Stress the benefits of wet food -- too many people avoid it because of the expense and smell. An acquaintance of mine (never owned a cat before) just adopted two adorable kittens and had them declawed so they wouldn't "claw my face while I sleep." If you are going to encourage her not to declaw you had better help her learn to trim nails and advise her to get plenty of scratching surfaces for the cat. You wouldn't want the cat coming back because it scratched the couch since it had no appropriate place to scratch.

I've recently looked at the links for the steam canner, and I believe some important information is missing. From years of using it, I have found that when you can whole tomatoes, raw pack, you must allow the canner to cool for almost 15 minutes before opening it to avoid siphoning, which will be severe if you open it too soon and will often cause the jars not to seal.

The Electrolux units cleaned very well and I was pleased with that aspect. The programming of the wash and dry cycles wasn’t very user friendly but I got used to it. The reason for the return was two-fold. First, there is what we decided was a design flaw with the dryer. There is a small gap at each end of the lint filter. We presume it is so you can get your finger in to lift it up to clean, although we found it just as easy to pull it up from the center. The problem with this gap is that clothes get stuck in it. The first time this happened, which was about a month after we got it, we were in the next room and heard the thumping and fixed it. It didn’t happen again so we let it go and decided it was a fluke. Well, it happened again about 6 months later. However, this time we were in the basement and didn’t hear anything. When we got back upstairs, the dryer was off as a bath towel had gotten snagged by the gap and it caused the drum to stop turning! I was pretty freaked as this could have caused a fire! The second part of our issue was with service. We have had a bad, bad experience in the past getting service from Frigidaire, and things don’t seem to have improved. We went through numerous attempts to get an appointment all to no avail, we kept getting an appointment over the phone only to get an email pushing back the appointment. After almost 2 weeks of this my husband talked to the manager of the Home Depot where we bought it and convinced them that this was unacceptable and they offered to pick the units up and give us a refund. So, yeah, we are done with Frigidaire and Electrolux.
