I think those are great. They would look nice cluster IMO but the other girls may come up with something better!! Nice find!!

I think they'll be great if you do them inside, but I think I'd put them outside myself. Hang them from tree branches maybe?

I can see them hung from metalic ribbons in a window, or put in a pretty bowl with some greenery tucked in.
They're really nice!

My only thought about outside is if the sliver color is on the outside the weather will take it right off. If it is inside the balls it might last longer but the moisture will eventually get to it.

Those are so cool!!! They would also be beautiful in a large basket with pinecones and a big bow on the handle. Maybe some fresh greens pines or holly.

OH I LOVE THOSE!!!! The one I bought in Mexico was outside and the mirror inside has been ruined by the moisture so if you put them outside, seal the top with some marine silicone atleast...but then it might sweat inside the ball anyways...GOOD SCORE LOO HOO!!!

Thanks every one for the ideas. I fell in love with them and had to have them, But had no plan for what to do with them. I love the velvet ribbon idea, and I do work next door to Michaels so could get some easily. I think maybe I'll split them in to two bunches, with one large and two small in each bunch. Maybe hang one bunch in my guest room which is morphing into a craft room too. I got rid of the king size bed in there, got a single and now am looking for a desk or work table to put in to enjoy my new space. I also have a sunroom/green house that three might look wonderful hanging in. I don't want them to get wrecked from outdoors,

Oh wow...........you and Martha Stewart........saw an article some time ago about her collecting these mercury ornaments.........oh yeah, hanging them with ribbons to show them off........think Martha had them hanging in windows...she had some smaller ones on top of brass candlesticks...and some in her crystal bowls...what a great find....!!

I've seen these in the UK around Christmastime. I have several and bought them for my tree (indoors). They should be hung on the sturdiest of branches, however.

I was so busy at work yesterday I forgot to go get the ribbon, poooh. I hung three in my sunroom and even with out the ribbon they look good. Rosie these are pretty heavy , I'd need a darn strong tree to hang them on.When I got to the thrift store a guy was just leaving with about a dozen large plastic ornaments, I would have loved those for my big tree outside.

Here's a pic of a little friend of mine who stays all winter long here. I make sure my feeder is thawed and ready for him, there's two actually, when I am in the yard they dive bomb me and fight over the feeder,

Ah Cindy, He is sooo cute! I have a regular email update from the bird store of all the sightings of diff birds in our area, it kinda cool. I heard an owl hootin' night before last...
