Anna, depending on whose door you have it should be easy to trouble shoot. The active patio door is set up to roll on two pair of steel wheels. There is a pair on the left and right of the door. These wheels are attached to an arm which can be adjusted up and down. The first thing to do is check the door to see if it's clear of the bottom track or rubbing at the top. The bottom of the door should be free of rubbing and sit up above the track. Vinyl doors sometimes have burrs on the seems that rub the track and create friction. Sometimes one side drags the bottom track and causes a poor glide. The top is easy to notice. You'll see marks where it rubs. Some manufacturers install anti lift tabs in the above track to prevent someone lifting the door up and out to gain access to the home. These will sometimes get caught up in the door. So check that out first. By moving the door slowly you may find tight spots. Some doors have screw covers that are located on the bottom of the door facing inside. They are usually easy to pop out or have a slot for a screw driver. These type of adjusters are eccentrics that adjust one click at a time. Just stick a regular screw driver in to see what way to turn it. You adjust the door by having it almost closed to where you have a quarter inch gap to see outside. This gap should be the same from top to bottom. If the gap is off adjust the appropriate roller to compensate. I always adjust the lowest side of the door off the track and then the other side to make my gap right. The other type of adjustment is in the bottom corner on each edge. There is usually two screws or a screw and a hole. The bottom screw is the screw that holds the roller body in place. This one you DON"T want to touch. The adjustment screw is usually above that screw. You can easily adjust the door with a regular phillips head screw driver. These are easier to adjust if you can lift the door up a little to reduce the weight of the door on the rollers. A lot of people strip the screw out while trying to adjust these with the weight on the rollers. Ounce you've completed any adjustment make sure and adjust your lock keeper for the frame, so it locks securely. If you had the door put in by others I'd recommend having them come back and re-adjust. Otherwise Pledge furniture polish (lemon scent is my favorite) works great to spray the bottom track with. It also works very well under a sticky entry door! Hope this gave you some areas to look at and correct.

OK, they just left. I am happy to say this finally brings my thread to its ending. I hope this thread ends up helping other people when they encounter issues during their install. While I may of vented here at times, I was never disrespectful to the company providing their services. Even today after they were done, we sat around, talked and drank some water I offered before they left. This was probably one of the nicest group of guys I have ever hired, unfortunately we ran into a lot of roadblocks. Not only was there some install quality issues, but I had 5 panels of glass that arrived with large factory defects that was completely out of their control. When you combine everything, it just felt like a lot to deal with. I will post up some final images. All flashing was done properly this time, and they redid the exterior trim and added wood behind the trim as before it was just hollow without support which is why it started separating. I am now happy and just wish this could of been done the first time. I just left my review for the company involved and gave them 5 stars. While it took 5 visits to get all this corrected, they never disrespected me, and always responded to everything. That is a sign of a good company. I told them I never tried to be difficult, but I wanted to be sure I protect my biggest investment which is my home. I just stayed in a home over Thanksgiving that had an elevator in it. (It was a coastal home in Port Aransas, TX). They had the standard door with the interior closure. It worked fine but was annoying in a way because if someone had not perfectly shut the door downstairs, the elevator would not work. It was extremely sensitive. For that reason alone, I think it would be worth the upgrade for the auto doors. If he did not close the downstairs door exactly right, it would be bad if the elevator would not work & he'd be stuck on the wrong level. Hope that makes sense! The kids in our group thought it was quite fun to have an elevator but it was a bit of a hassle as well with all the doors. Plus, one time, the kids opened the door and it was just open to the drop below & they could have fallen in! It has a safety feature that is not supposed to allow the door to even open if the elevator is not there but I guess it can still happen. I was rather shocked! Basically, elevators can truly serve their purpose but at the same time, be careful!

We built in 2021 and ended up with 5 multi-sliding doors from Euro-wall. We needed impact/hurricane rated doors. All of ours are 10 ft high to fit our 12 ft ceilings. Our largest is 6-panels and 18 ft wide. We also have 4-panels that are 12 ft wide and 2-panel that are 6 ft wide. Very happy with them, except one is missing weather stripping and we have been waiting forever for the window/door dealer to send their warranty crew out to make the repair.
