I just had my coffee with that site! I enjoyed it also. She is almost as good as you gals! I liked the way she mixed grout colors and that crash glass really interested me. If it wasn't so cold here, I might want to try it. ( hardy har har)

Neat stuff. I'm into mirrors now so I really enjoyed looking at those.
There are so many tallented artist doing mosaics. You don't have to search far to find inspiration!

Gosh. Interesting for many reasons. Sometimes, it appears that retailers at different levels are selling exactly the same product at differing prices. Sometimes (often, really) the lesser price thing lacks the grace and proportion of the pricier one. Sometimes the two look alike, but you can't tell if the fabric or the construction is very different. Sometimes the materials are not comparable (nickel vx. aluminum, for example). And sometimes the cheaper one is prettier. But to my eye, not very often. The papier-mache stag heads are a good example, I think. The first one is far more graceful and elegant in proportion and attitude than either of the others...the third one is creepy! I wonder how many of the cheaper things are unauthorized counterfeits, and how many are speedily copied knock-offs like the clothes that appear moments after Fashion Week? I have to stop now...I'm cross-eyed!

Loved the flamingo under the statues link. Also under "other stuff" she/he really used texture and color to make that "nature" piece pop! Thanks for more eye candy Ramona!

Xuan has always been one on my favorite's talked to her when she first started...he has become very famous and her pieces sell for 1000.00's .she sell's to famous people at a show she does in the California mountains.I love her pieces!Her husband does her web-site.

Thanks for that site ! It sure is inspirational. I would LOVE to take on projects like that ... but there's no place to sell them at like she has. *what a dream!*
