I'm at my DD's house right now and as I drove in the driveway, next door, at the abandoned, "meth house" (not really, but it looks like it)..there's a huge round, that used to be one of those spools that the power co. uses, for their coil..

it was used for a table top, that their neglected dogs used to climb up on..sorta like goats, when they have places to jump and sit..

anyway, I suggested to daughter that she get it and make a cool patio table..

she's not even remotely interested, since the dirty dogs were all over it...

well, I have no ill feelings about it's history, so am giving some slight thought to getting my little 'junk hauling truck' and grabbing it

bring it home and paint on some primer and have my way with it...lol

it would take a LOT of work, and a huge bunch of broken dishes and I don't even know if I want that kind of project..there's no middle or other end of the spool..just the one round, that's gotta be at least 5' in diameter...

whatcha think??

dumb idea, just let it go? or PITA project??
