Window covering for front door

I think I need to take a break from the LR furniture re-arranging to focus on a couple other small projects I'd like to tackle.

In the pic below you can kind of see the front door at the end of the hall. Sorry for not having a better photo to post at the moment. I like that it's a large glass window because it faces east and we get morning sun (otherwise it would be kind of dark at certain times of the day), but it also provides zero privacy for hanging out in jammies watching TV, etc.

Any suggestions for a window covering to use on the front door that offers flexibility to open or close as needed, would look reasonably attractive from the inside or out, and could lay over the slightly raised frame forming the impression of window panels? (It's all one big window but there's a wood frame cut and placed over the top to make it look like smaller individual windows, if that makes sense.)

Thanks!
