We got a letter form mom from the rehab center she's in. The letter

was mostly addressed to the girls which is a good thing because

normaly it would be all about trying to impress or garner sympathy

from Jonathan. Is she possibly getting the hint? Is this a subtle

sign of recovery surfacing? At any rate, she sent the girls annual

passes for the local theme park so we could take them during the

summer.

By the tome of the letter it's pretty obvious she won't be released

after the 45 day minimum visit. This is FABULOUS news for multiple

reasons. First reason being that we all knew 45 days would do her no

good. This woman is in desperate need of long term therapy. Secondly

it means at least one psychologist over at that place has their eyes

open and knows the score. Lastly, it has been TONS easier on me not

having to deal with the drama pregnant. This has been a fabulous

vacation for me. This person is hard to deal with without the pregnancy

harmones making your emotions run wild. I don't think I could have

dealt the whole term dealing with her BS. I would have had a

meltdown. It has been so calm and normal at our house without her

influence. It makes me wish we'd never have to go back to the old

way. Maybe they'll lobotomize herÂÂ

As far as the legal stuff goes, Jonathan has been in contact with a

lawyer from Fathers For Equal Rights and he is helping him to get

his ducks in a row. (Thanks Ashley) We are really hoping the case

can get rolling before she gets out of rehab because we assume that

temporary primary custody at THE LEAST will be rewarded to him right off the

bat under the circumstances.

The pregnancy seems to be moving right along normally. We have a DR.

appointment friday and they will schedule a sonogram within the

next couple weeks so we will finally know what we are having. Daddy

is wanting a boy terribly but we will be happy with a healthy baby

be it boy or girl. The girls are getting impatient. They want the

baby here NOW and don't understand the logisticsÂhahaha.

Basically things are calm and for now we are all doing great. It's

just terribly sad it took the girls mom being carted off to the

funny farm for it to get to this point.
