Laura I still am leary about the one I bought, which was only a month or so ago. The top part has the GE logo on a gold band, under that is a black band with Silicone II, and then the rest is blue and white with window and doors and a lot of small print. The new tube is all blue and white. What makes me nervous is it doesnt say GE. Salesclerk said it was the same, but I have had bad luck with glues that don't hold up and want to be sure I have the real deal. If anyone has new infor please give a shout out ok? Thanks Kathy

Mine are 2004 vintage. Love the 6 burner gas range as every burner has high btu and good simmer. Flipping a grate for wok is cool. The grates on the newer models feel flimsier. The oven is okay, it has three racks, but they are too close together, wound up taking one out. Temperature control and distribution are fine. DW is good. Very quiet, cleans well, cycle takes a long time on the air dry phase, and there is no way to turn it off. Refrigerator over under- no issues except hard to keep freezer drawer organized. MW - no issues. Hood- no issues. They all look Beautiful and have required no repairs.

We have the GE Profile FD and love it. It was our third new fridge in 6 weeks, as we went through two Bosch SxS models, neither of which would cool. The GE's been great...no issues at all, and because of the previous problems, I keep a fridge thermometer in it all the time...it holds its temp perfectly. We've had it for two months (admittedly, not long) and I'd give it 4.5 stars. DH insisted we had to have water in the door, so that ruled out lots of FD models. My only (small) complaint is the water well that catches drips in the door is quite small, and it sometimes overruns onto the floor when it's full and we swing the door open. But that's a small problem and infrequent. Would definitely buy it again...

I'm the other one. My all Fridge unit was installed in November and worked fine through the colder months. As soon as the heat and humidity started to rise in the summer, we started noticing mold growing on all the containers and produce was rotting within a day or two og going into the fridge. I emptied the whole thing out and found a HUGE mold colony growing in the drip tray. GE sent someone out who said the machine was operating wihing normal pareters, i.e. getting cold enough and maintaining the temperature, that the drip tray could NOT be replaced, and that there was nothing they could fix even though the machine was well within warranty. We threatened legal action against GE with a lawyer's letter. Our appliance dealer who was helping us, bought back both the fridge and freezer and we're the proud new owners of two STUNNINGLY beautiful and (hopefully) fully functional Miele units. And it looks like the Miele's are built to handle humidity - something the GE units were plainly incapable of doing. I think my issue is a design flaw and a health hazard but if you're not getting the all fridge unit what ARE the chances of you getting a lemon. If you like it and the price is right...BUT I personally would never touch another GE appliance, either foreign made or composed of foreign parts. (The GE fridge motors are made in China)
