completely off topic. it is a mystery to me how BM moved in with a guy she knew for a month and it seems to be working for them. and he even supports her financially. how do people do it? is she that special?

I'll address this but start a new thread so we don't railroad the other post.
BM only knew this guy a week or two. She told us she moved three weeks after court (where she wasn't seeing him) and she had already been staying there a week when she told us, so that would mean she knew him, at most, two weeks before she moved. That's assuming she met him immediately after court. (not likely)
It doesn't seem to be working for them... well, not exactly. She started having his kids call her mom from the get go, so she also had her kids call him dad. At first, they were all excited (the kids) and BM was trying to be the happy little family. The excitement of the new relationship must have worn off. From what I gather, BM won't let her BF talk to his ex at all unless she's there. She gets catty with his ex, so his ex hardly talks to him anymore. BM also talks really bad about his kids' mom (and me) to anyone that will listen, including all the kids. It didn't go over real well with his kids because they don't call her that anymore. SD says that his kids get mad at her when she calls their dad, 'dad'. There's a lot of rivalry and fighting going on between the kids now.
Add onto all that, BM isn't working and her BF can't pay all the bills so they are moving. SD came over this weekend telling DH how the landlord came and threatened BM to call the police on her because they haven't moved out yet. BM says they are moving to a bigger, more expensive house, but we think they are moving in with his parents. If that happens, it won't be long before they see her for who she is. I can't believe she has fooled her BF this long (9 months) but his ex says that he will stay with her no matter what because he feels alone, like the world is against him and he's lost everything. She's telling his family (and I'm sure him too) stories of how she escaped an abusive relationship (a lie) and we took her daughter from her (a lie) and that I beat her daughter (a lie) and she's just a victim in all this. I'm sure if they live with her, they will see the truth... hopefully they are that smart.
and trust me, she's NOT that special. Who knows what he sees in her, except an ally that thinks the world is against her too.
