What !! none from California or Texas?

Thanks to both of you for the advice and article. Pretty relieved right now that it's just good old fashioned neglect, haha. I've given them some granular fertilizer (around 1/10 dosage of that 5-3-8). I hope that's good enough? I did end up buying some liquid fertilizer this morning just in case.

Main difference with the colors, is how early they bloom. The earliest bloomer is the white, the next is the lavender, followed by pink, and then red. Color choice, would then be based on what colors you prefer to have, and/or when you prefer them to bloom. You will find there are two basic varieties of crepe myrtle, with the one being found in TX nurseries being a more vertical habit, with the ends of the branches more upright, with bloom. A more common type in other parts of the south, is more of a horiz growth habit, with the blooms on the end of slightly drooping branches. These can actually look very "bushy" when well developed, and in full bloom, making them look less familiar to us here, in TX. These are quite common in Atlanta and other SE places.

Redfin, johnlscott, cbbain, etc. All the real estate sites usually have search capabilities for SOLD homes in the area (not just those listed with their office/brand name either). So, if I really want to know about an area, I go to one of those. If I want to know about a specific house, I go to the county website for property information (our area has a very thorough county parcel info website).
