It would look lovely in a pale apple green. It's both appropriate for a guest and also will compliment the raspberry color.

Are you sure the paint you want is safary?
I have the "big" sample in my hands and it does not look beige. It looks gold!
Actually, they both are goldish.
Whithout seeing actual pictures, and following your description and the purpose of the room I suggest a soothing color:
A nice contrast with white and tan and raspberry could be a greenish color (since you said you have have green folliage in your prints.
The a safe option is a neutral - not goldish, but darker than beige.

Again, without seein anythig I suggest:
-Green side: SW 7738 Cargo Pants or some other green that matches the green you have in the print.
-Neutral side: SW 7529 Sand or 6106 Kilim Beige (this one is nice with the white trims)

How much light do you have in the room?

We have Stonebriar in our family room that faces south and west. For that reason, we didn't want a paler color that would be washed out by the sun. For those not familiar, it's very close to Ben Moore's Wilmington Tan and has a LRV of 43. It's warm.

I'm not familiar with SW Safari and when I checked it out on their interactive color page, the Stonebriar was so off, I was afraid to read too much into the rendition of Safari.

If you love the Stonebriar and have enough light sources, it would set the woodwork off nicely.

Oh, let me clarify: The "green" that's in the fabric is rather dark -- leaning toward teal.

Parma -- the room is on the north side, so light is limited.

If you have the SW Safari chip, it will give the LRV (light reflective value) on the back.

Stonebriar is 43 and the higher the number, the more light it reflects. Many use only 50+ in a north facing room. That's a rule that is often broken if one is interested in a moodier (for lack of a better word) look. Powder rooms, dens, etc. are often colored darker, without regard to the outside light sources.

You've all convinced me to expand my paint horizons for this room, so I'm currently sitting in front of, and pondering the use of, SW's Glimmer, Tidewater, Watery, Meander Blue, and Raindrop.

We matched the teal color in the fabric to Reflecting Pool/Cloudburst, and decided to go up the card from there to test out colors.
