Does anyone have any experience in healthcare or have children or SKs with ADD/ADHD and are on Concerta?
SS is on Concerta be/c of ADHD and husband claims their old pediatrician told him SS doesn't have to take it unless he absolutely needs to. Has anyone ever heard of a doctor telling a patient to take a controlled substance, such as Concerta, on an as-needed basis? It's not like SS's ADHD picks and chooses what day to rear its ugly head. I've tried telling my husband that I don't think picking and choosing what days of the week to take it is helping him at all.
I've tried to locate info on the web but haven't had much luck. Thanks!
