Finally...Started Mosaic Bowl

I posted this white ceramic bowl many eons ago asking for advice on how to mosaic it. But family obligations delayed my having time to do anything till now. The bowl is 15 inches in diameter and about 5 inches tall. I purchased the ceramic bowl (I actually have another one I am going to do a more free form type of mosaic with) at goodwill and sealed it with some modpod and then glued the glass pieces down. I had the glass pieces in my cabinet so I used them. The design was dictated by how many of each color I had - didn't want to go to the store with fuel prices the way they are.

Here it is without any grout. I am thinking of a coppery brown colored grout, kind of like the copper colored glass (is there such a color ?). I also want to add something along the top of the rim to build it up to the level of the glass pieces. Perhaps some copper tubing. By the way this is the first mosaic type of item I have done.

Suggestions, ideas, and critiques are gladly welcome.
