source for polished nickel hardware

hi ...i really want polished nickel hardware for my knobs and pulls but i'm having a tough time finding that particular finish. i have found cup pulls in the pn, but i'm interested in more of a thin, bar type with traditional styling. if you come across any sources i'd appreciate a heads up. thanks!

I could find only this one style at Lee Valley available in polished nickel.

have you checked out Rejuvenation? Styles are generally traditional and polished nickel is a finish option.

Hi Diane, Just came across your post. If you are still searching for cabinet hardware for your home project, here is a great site I used when I did my kitchen remodel. Prices are terrific and shipping was fast too! I remodeled my kitchen a year ago and my hardware still looks wonderful (House of Knobs Fashionable Finishes Brushed Nickel Flared Ends Pull.) This item comes in polished nickel too! There are many items on the site that offer substantial discounts if you order in quantity (maybe more likely with a kitchen than with a bathroom though...) With the quantity discount and low price I paid about 25% less (even with shipping)than I would have for similar items at my local HD. Hope this helps you or someone else... Sources of polished nickel medicine cabinets

I'd chosen the medicine cabinet below from Restoration Hardware, but I'm choking on the price ($500+10% shipping + tax). HomeClick and QualityBath have nice cabinets by Robern that are actually less expensive, but they do not come in polished nickel. Does anyone know of other source? bumping this up. Anyone out there who's actually done what I'm proposing? My California migrated lighting designer-who's helped me immensely on many kitchen design issues, is a bit more of a purist on finishes. My notes of our early discussion show he suggested hardware in satin or stainless steel for their sheen but not brushed nickel which is more matte. Antique nickel, brass, antique (aged) bronze etc was also high, polished nickel not so much. Also, I recently saw a "what's new in 2013 kitchens" and it said popular hardware are satin, orb, some brass, but not seeing as much polished. If you know of a "bright" satin cabinet hardware maker, please do share. A lot might depend on the base metal in the collection. :/ Thanks again.

I took some pics of the three pulls I am mainly considering. One is in PN b/c that is all they had and the other two are brushed nickel. After looking at them, I think I might be ok with the brushed nickel. Here are all three. Bottom is obviously the polished one. It is the one I thought I would like the best too, until I got them all installed (this is in my current mudroom, not future kitchen--cabinets aren't installed yet). The top is Jeff Alexander Belcastel, second is a Hickory pull that looks very similar to JA Bremen and last is JA Tiffany. I think I like Belcastel! I thought I might avoid the squarer look b/c my pendants are rounded, but I think it is my favorite. Here is a view of the two I like the best. Would love opinions.

I got mine from Restoration Hardware and love it. I wanted 6" pulls, as my drawers are large, and they had just what I wanted.
One caveat, though: if an item is backordered, it can take weeks to get it. I think they'll let you know before you check out, though.

We have polished nickel bin pulls and knobs, both from Restoration Hardware. As piegirltoo wrote, they have lots of styles which come in a PN finish.

Where I had a really hard time was finding PN appliance pulls. I finally found these from Belwith Keeler (now known as Hickory Hardware) and think they are terrific. We have them on our fridge, freezer and broom pull-out.

Polished nickel hardware is gorgeous. I knew all along that's what I wanted and am so glad I never waivered. (Many have written here about fingerprints and advising against it -- I have two sticky-fingered toddlers and so far, nary a problem.)
