Do you have polished nickel hardware with brushed nickel faucet?
In my new kitchen, I will have double ovens in stainless, stainless range top and a stainless faucet. Sink is white, fridge and DW are paneled. Cabinets will be white. I will also have two pendants above my island that are in an "antique silver" finish.I really like a polished nickel cabinet pull. But, I am so matchy-matchy, that I wonder if this will bother me. I know many people have stainless appliances with polished nickel hardware, but do you also have a polished nickel faucet? I don't want to do a bridge faucet or anything fancy. I already purchased the Moen Walden in stainless. Have one now and like it. Here are a few pics. Actually, looking at these together, I hope I like them! Ah, the anxiety about all the choices coming together...

8 years agoI took some pics of the three pulls I am mainly considering. One is in PN b/c that is all they had and the other two are brushed nickel. After looking at them, I think I might be ok with the brushed nickel.
Here are all three. Bottom is obviously the polished one. It is the one I thought I would like the best too, until I got them all installed (this is in my current mudroom, not future kitchen--cabinets aren't installed yet). The top is Jeff Alexander Belcastel, second is a Hickory pull that looks very similar to JA Bremen and last is JA Tiffany. I think I like Belcastel! I thought I might avoid the squarer look b/c my pendants are rounded, but I think it is my favorite. Here is a view of the two I like the best. Would love opinions.

Comments (3)Yes, you should mix metals, but I would do more of a contrast than chrome to brushed nickel. If you're doing chrome for your faucets and shower fixtures, then pick something more interesting for the other hardware like oil rubbed bronze or gold. If you pick things too close together sometimes it looks like you were trying to match and just slightly missed. Comments (16)Both the Champagne Bronze Delta faucets and the Brizo stainless steel faucets we bought were above the cost of what you could get a standard faucet for in stainless steel with a traditional design. However, we were able to maximize discounts by shopping online for the lowest prices which sometimes involve a percentage off discount sale since Delta/Brizo and other brands put a cap on how low resellers can advertise the list prices. Also be aware that some faucets being ordered online right now are being delayed weeks out due to lower capacities in manufacturing and shipping delays due to the pandemic. Our faucet order placed last week is projected to arrive in 3 weeks. If cost is a big concern, maybe the polished nickel might be a compromise after all, but again, polished nickel is frequently higher in cost than stainless steel, so if it was the gold/brass color you really wanted, then polished nickel is only getting you halfway to that goal for an increased cost anyway....See Morechrome, brushed nickel or polished nickel? which is more contemporary?
