Here is a picture of my PB in late May: My garden is a mess. I am sorry. I learned something interesting watching this rose grow. The tuft of small stems near the ground is last year's growth. That growth is like a wide, low growing shrub; almost horizontal. This year the rose is sending up vertical canes, like a climber that it is. If you follow each cane from the base to its tips you will see buds. The canes are getting ready to bloom. The same is true for Guirlande d'Amour: You can see last year's horizontal growth (which already had a round of blooms) and then vertical canes blooming. This picture is in early July. I had a huge rambler named Tausendschon that I lost to RRD. It did the same thing. I saw at least 5 years of only horizontal growth, but the mound was 4-5 feet high. Then one day it just started growing upwards with huge arching canes. I am guessing because it is (was) meant to be a very large plant it took several years to gather energy for upward growth. I dont have pictures of the rambler that illustrate the two different habits in its life history. But here are some pictures i posted of it last year. Now I can clearly see that there are certain climbing roses that spend some time growing horizontally before doing any vertical growth. I am growing a large climber, Jasmina. It is the most darndest horizontal-with-stiff-canes rose I have ever seen. As I watched this rose grow from a rooted cutting I would ask why would anyone call this rose a climber???? There were long stiff canes (with sharp thorns) lying horizontally like spokes of a wheel that I could not fathom lifting to tie to a trellis. I remember searching the rose Forum for any information on Jasmina and read that Lily had uprooted and thrown away her Jasmina. It was frustrating seeing this long horizontal growth that you cannot do anything with. I bet Jasmina is going to send out vertical canes soon. Today I saw some strong 45 degree and 60 degree canes. So much rambling 🤦‍♀️

Sunspace is a better made product all around. Not only is it more visually appealing but the vents are equally sized unlike eze breeze which cascade and can only fit in the order they come out. Our product is warranty for life with the vinyl 10 years but I have replaced 16-year-old vinyl panels that still stretch happen cracked haven't yelled haven't distorted and look almost as if they were put in the day they were taken out.

. IMO that is quote a staement so I would be thinking long and hard about that color. What is your decor in the rest of the house ? This needs to be decided with all the living space involved. So some context for sure and seeing this in someone elses home will in no way help you unless they have your exact home , furniture, flooring and lighting. Show us your home then we will get some clue as tot eh choice . Post pics here in comments DO NOT start another post.

The unpainted color is regular cement gray. The first pic you provided is what they look like “au natural” or at least it appears that way. Think I will paint mine dark gray.
