I looked at the site "this to that" and they recommend weldbond or hot glue. Weldbond shouldn't get too wet, and hot glue would be bumpy. I think I would glue the fabric onto the glass with modpodge (which is white glue with a bit of acryllic urethane in it) and finish it off with acrylic urethane on top once it has dried. I think acrylic is the word for water based, "urethane". Good luck, post a pic on what your'e doing! Kathy

Here's why a seam at the sink is not a good idea-what if you get granite Cut #1 or #2 in boxerpup's posting on the link below(drawings at the bottom of her post under the photos) What are you going to do if the stuff they use to fill the seam starts to break down or isn't applied properly? That's what happened to my sister's granite which is seamed smack dab in the middle of her sink--let's not even talk about how during this economic crisis her granite fabricator filed for bankruptcy, reopened under a different name, won't honor the warranty & how no other granite fabricator will even touch it to make the repair! You wouldn't believe how much buildup she gets in that crack--can you just imagine the potential for bacteria growth?!? Why take the chance of putting a seam in a high traffic/food/water area if you don't have to? Plus not all seams are as well done as cloud_swift's is in the above pic. Just my $0.02. I used Bracho Marble & Granite in Newark. I got 3 estimates and they were the cheapest by a fair amount and also Da Vinci Marble, where I got my marble, recommended them. But I will say this, if you want to specify how to template the slab, make sure they mark front and back. One of my pieces ended up backwards, which I actually liked better, but still, be very specific how you want it laid out. Oh, also, Henry got me a discount on the stone even though I had chosen and had a deposit on it already. I can't remember how much I paid, I will find out tomorrow and let you know. Marble install was one of the most exciting days of my life, ok, well, you know, you get a little TKO when you spend any time here on GW.
