Kirk...I've always liked this one..my barrell pond is still going, too! But I wanted to comment on your glass balls in the ground...I think before you said those were the pot "waterers" that are sold...well, this year by our pond, I marked where I planted a big elephant ear with one of those "waterers!" (just pushed the long part in the ground) Now I know where the E.Ear is located until it finally pops out of the ground! TFS your pics again! Jeanne S.

I think it depends on the look you're trying to achieve as well as budget but natural stone, granite, and high quality copper are all options for something like this that won't erode or rust.

Hats off to you for the great landscaping. I know how much work went into all of that. Glad you can now enjoy it. I am in the process of redoing our backyard.. We have a fountain for the same reason, to try and negate all the road noise, we live on a busy corner. I'm trying to landscape the view from the deck to make it more pleasant. Yours is excellent! Thanks for the inspiration!!
