Have you seen this PB barstool? PICS

I've been searching for a stool like this for months. I saw a pic of one in BHG magazine last fall. PB now has the Bryce which is a dead ringer, but is too short for our counter. Not to mention, I'm not shopping at PB anymore.

I've been to a dozen barstool websites, but haven't found another like this.

HELP!

Angc, Sundance has something similar, but not in the same colors. It says the height is adjustable though, they are linked below.

Did a quick search on e-bay. Try the key woods industrial stools, steel stools, revolving steel stools.

I haven't purchased...yet. Last night I was trolling the internet once again, dropped the "parsons" out of the search and added "wasabi" (based on some other recent trolling). I found options a bit more expensive than my original budget. See below for one of the websites and here's another (inserting pictures is still so much of a challenge for me I'm just pasting in the website) http://www.roomstogo.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=showItem&ipac_id=16315 But then I have to think about shipping. Thank you for the website and even MORE thanks for remembering my search. I'm thinking the sage won't have the pop that I want--aren't I fussy?! Two chairs would be great because I could use them with my dining set. I peeked around the site and am a bit tempted by the banana leaf chair. CNCGuy: Hopefully I'm posting this photo correctly (it's been awhile since I've posted one!) Instead of having a permanent bar inside our pool house, we just move our high patio table & bar stools into the pool house when we want to sit inside. We've got a TV in the corner armoir, ceiling fan/light, and fridge, so we've got all the creature comforts when we need them. Now that the weather is nicer, we moved the patio set and put in our two chaise lounge chairs into the pool house. That's our new Australian Cattle Dog, Nash, hanging outside the pool house w/one of our German Shorthaired Pointers, Lilly. I'll post more photos of him in another thread. need advice on crackling barstools (pic)

I don't know if you have done a lot of faux finishes, but bar stools is not a good start for a crackle finish. It would be difficult to explain why but it has to do with the legs and the rounds. I would spray paint bar stools an decidedly different color and no crackle here. I think it not only is very difficult but will bring down the look of your room and devalue what you are trying to accomplish. I don't think that is true of all crackle finishes as they are great in some locations, just not this one. JMHO, flame me, flame me but I think you need to go with a strong other color in solid paint. Do I see black on your frames on the wall? Black will give your room another dimension and bulk it up as it needs that. It will give it the look it deserves.

Thanks, everyone! Looks like the brushed steel stool is the clear winner! Yes, it is definitely more comfortable. The manufacturer is Callagaris and the style is "Hi". I found them at Slater/Marinoff in Berkeley, CA, but they can be found on-line. Does anyone have advice on protecting the floors from getting scratched? I've tried good quality adhesive felt pads, but they tend to eventually come off and leave sticky residue on my floors. Thanks again to everyone!

Got these by putting in screw lift stool in google .. yeah I was scared to put in that search term, but did it anyhow. ;) They look to be vintage medical stools, kinda cool.

I had this site bookmarked after seeing some of the stools in a Martha magazine. I'm linking to their whole collection of stools. She used the Lyon series as barstools in her kitchen. I think the Diesel series is pretty close to what you want, though it doesn't come in red and I don't think the seat is not solid metal. But you can't beat the price, LOL!

Man, you guys are good! How did you find all that stuff? I was definitely using the wrong keywords.
The first stool zipdee found is so perfect, but I'm cruising through lkpatow's link. Lots of really cool affordable stools.

Nope, they were all too short :-( We need bar height stools, not counter. The tallest one only adjusted to 29". We have a 29" h stool they temporarily and it's way too short. I'm still looking!
