Squirrel hit it with the "warm" blues and grays. I think F&B Blue Gray could be quite wonderful. F&B in North America is distributed out of Canada...no problem there. What I see is that there are so many warm elements in your home -- granite, floors, wood furniture, etc. -- that you will not have a cold feeling with a blue or gray color on the walls. Instead, you will create a balance between warmer and cooler tones. That balance, and the variety, is pleasing to the human eye physiologically. Using more warm tones on the walls, while harmonious (and safe), also create a certain degree of monotony. At least that's what I believe about color. I am sure others here may disagree. Of the splotches I see, I think they are too light or too dark. You need something more in the middle, like Squirrel's first blue gray. That dark gray you're playing with, while very interesting, would just make the space very dark along with your gorgeous floors and cabs. Too pale a gray and you are back in the icy-I'm-feeling-cold zone! When I look at the blue gray on the wall against the golden color of the granite, it just sings! Blue and yellow are a classic color pair, and with a knocked back red (something earthy), form a perfect triad on the color wheel. That's a way to play it safe without resorting to beige...just use one of the reliable color combos, like the triad. Remember, you will also have plenty of opportunity to change the feeling of things with accessories and art. Red pillows for winter, creamy pale colors for summer, etc. You can change out window treatments seasonally. (Tailored panels in winter, bare windows in summer, for instance.) I think your style and architecture is very energetic and I feel the color scheme can certainly follow. It would be a shame (IMO) to stay with beige...

Crescent- Absolutly- The set is by Canadel. Go to Dinette Set LTD (521 Bustleton Pike Feasterville, PA-- Phone 215-322-4260) Owners name is Russell. He is FABULOUS! I had bought a table there years ago and once again he proved that my 50 minute drive was well worth it-- He was WELL below the competitors. He is a family owned business. From the outside the store doesn't look like much but inside he's got a great selection and he is super helpful. If you are going i would suggest booking an appt time with him so you get his full attension. He was so helpful with us. We even ordered stools that are Oil Rubbed Bronze look and it did have some wood on the top. I was very conserned b/c i didn't like the wood color. He said if i paid for the stain ($40)--- he would order it from Canadel and send it tot he stool company and they would use that stain on the stools... how cool is that. Great customer service!! Good luck and THANK YOU EVERYONE-- we revised the order today and we are going with the dark brown chairs (that have trully grown on me as something different--) I think i chose the other one b/c it was "safe" lol.... and i've been risky up to now so why change that!! lol (ie granite, caesarstone, and 2 different colored cabients) lots of risk- i was looking for the easy way out!

Not sure what help you want, but if it's advice on how to treat the smaller window, or fabric selection, Houzzers can help with that. You would need to post pictures of the room showing furnishings and both windows, and a picture of the curtains you have for the large window.

I would like to see a pic of the actual house .Usually in townhouse properties the exterior needs to be the same throughout so maybe a bit info too .I don’t agree that only Greek revival looks good in white but really I need to see the actual house. BTW symmetry is overrated but asymmetry is not an easy task to get right.
