I have the Henredon Cavalier line. I started buying it 2 years ago and just got my last piece 3 weeks ago. The first pieces were made and signed stateside, now it is all made in Columbia with a brass plate on the back of the furniture to that effect. The nightstand made in Columbia is inferior to the pieces made here, although the difference is subtle. I had to refuse the last piece because of dripping stain and dried glue in places where you could see it. On the large chest the keyhole hardware was crooked (my husband fixed it). I do love the look however but now I wish I had purchased it all at one time while it was still made here. The Cavalier line has been streamlined and much of the line has already been discontinued. You can call Henredon to verify but you can see now on the Henredon site that there are only basic pieces remaining. Of course you can always do as others have suggested and coordinate with other lines (Acquisitions) or brands. I have a Stickley Williamsburg dining room table and chairs that I got in NY at the factory store several years ago, I LOVE it. Stickley just seems to pay more attention to detail. The set is well used, needs little maintenance and looks new. Even now if I wanted to add to the set I would have no problem getting another matching piece. Stickley customer service is great.
