I saw a page that took the large wine bottles and put paint in it and swirled it around the bottom half. A small solar light was then set in the top and at night when the light came on they marked the path. Beautiful. going to use glass paint and try the mirror glass paint too. I also thought of pushing the colored paper they use to cover baskets with, you know it comes in red, blue green etc. Ill try red to see if it looks like a flame. I love this stuff lol.

After you posted the first thread I tried to buy the larger size vase pic and it was sold out then. I just assumed you had a store locally that carried it. I could had saved you some time by telling you that. Some of the alternstives you are posting are also some that I've seen myself while looking for art. They are nice but I'm still stuck on your first choice. So far the trees above this would be my 2nd choice...but I would keep checking back to see if Kirkland has the vases again. :)

Or... refill them with home-made wine lol.

Back when the legal age to consume alcholic beverages was 18, I was given a similar bottle of wine for my 18th birthday. It was a Chianti wine bottle with a basket on the lower section. Needless to say, I consumed a significant quantity of the wine. I do believe the wine was tainted as I became violently ill. ;-) I still cannot drink Chianti! Once the bottle was empty, my father drilled a hold at the base, and wired it for a lamp for my college dorm room. It made a nice floor lamp which I had through out my single years.
