I left a follow up post under the "hate in writing" dicussion, but when I checked back, you still hadn't responed. I just want you to read the message I left for you and tell you that I am praying for you and thinking about you and you children. Please keep posting, I do want to know that you are alright. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Jenkin,
My husband I guess is going to serve me with the papers in the next few days. I just don't understand anything at this point. He doesn't feel anything - that is what he told my sister. Not toward anyone right now. His feelings are totally shut down. Maybe that is how he is going thru with this.
My daughter is so sad. She is keeping her grades up but not herself. My son is 18 and working and supportive. My good stepson is confused and not doing well at school, but has a teacher that is looking out for him, along with the principal and other teachers.
I have my sister and friends. I am leaning on them. I also have my husband's parents who are just as confused by his behavior as I am.
My whole world is ending for me. It is so illogical is the way I can describe it. I have no idea where the man I married went. The man I love so much. I do think this is some sort of midlife crisis. But he is the only one who can change things and is unwilling or maybe even unable.
I am trying to focus at work. The anti depressants my Dr. put me on are helping somewhat. I hope to soon get back in to see my counselor. I am going to church and that helps too. I am praying for me and for my husband. Also for my children. It is all I can do. I don't know exactly how God will answer my prayers, but I know he will.

Sarah1.. I know I am new on here but I have been there, alot of us have gone "Through" the same thing. I was so depressed at one time over him I couldn't stand up straight...the tears just kept rolled down my face..I'll tell you how I got better...First I realized "I" had to take care of ME, not him!! When Jesus said He would never leave you or forsake you" he meant it. The definition of forsake is REJECT, He will never reject us!!! And I am very sure you feel rejected at this time by your husband..Ever hear about the Wedding Feast coming up for Jesus and His bride?? Well, the bride is His church..US!!! Soooo, He can be like a husband to you now,here, if you let Him. I litterly made Him my husband to fill that horrible hole in my belly, to turn to for help, to go to for comfort. I said before, we have been "Through" this,too. Well, when you go Through something there IS Another side!!! Hang tough, it may get worse before it gets better,but,it will get better! If you let Him "hold you up by His right hand" Yes,God will answer your prays because He loves you and WANTS to help you and your kids!!! Praying for ya!! Gin

I simply name a folder Hosta, and any correspondence or validation of purchase I put in that folder, quite simple, Just like all of my favorite web sites like White flower farm, or Big Dipper Farms (really cool site for some odd plants) under Garden, and then under garden I have sub folders, for Hosta, which is where Land of the Giant Hosta, or Halsons, Jims, and others, you can do that with email too. Paul PS or just never delete their email and you will always have to bypass it to get to all of your other email

As an avid yard saler/thrift shopper I wanted to like this show so much! I can find "treasure" in other peoples castoffs. Once I posted about a shower curtain I found at Goodwill which brought me to tears. But, I'm not really drawn to her or the format of the show. Entirely. I love seeing the houses of junk/treasure, and I like seeing the pieces that are reworked for sale in her super cute store. I can do with out people haggeling on prices, and her and her team climbing through piles of crap. I think if it focused more on some of the items (and not cars, I could not care less about the cars/motorcycles), like when they had all the lunch boxes...feature them, show some and the value they have, or some of the pottery/dishware. And maybe show more reworked items, or the reworking of them...tips on refinishing etc. I dunno, I like the idea of the show, but the execution is unbearable. I usually watch it On Demand and fast forward through most of it. And as I sit around and start to plan my spring planting, I really wish they'd bring the "G" back! I did see a show I hadn't see in ages, with Karen Macaloon (sp?) where she helps people do a room. That was pretty good. too bad it was at 6:30 am!

Thanks, Newdawn. I hate I didn't see that before this morning. Will check it out online for times. I'm not a fan of Olsen either. I don't watch any shows on HGTV anymore. I am enjoying 9 By Design - love them! It's more reality than decorating, but I like watching them to see what they come up with for the spaces they are working on. DH brought home a newspaper article about them this morning, I have yet to read. Design Star comes on HGTV, doesn't it? I do watch it. Was thinking BRAVO. Top Design, which is better, I watch also. Flyleft, I'm glad you enjoyed. Not sure what solar light link you're talking about. We don't have any lights along our sidewalk. DH made me buy some, and he installed. I hated. They stayed up less than 24 hours. We've never replaced, but we have a flood light up in a tree that lights up the bottom of the walkway near the guest parking area. I don't really like flood lights, but we live out in the woods and have to have something when we take the dogs out or have company. lol Amy. Your bookcases look great. IKEA does make good stuff. I honestly don't know how it's so cheap other than they sell a lot and they've got the manufacturing down to a science, so costs are lower than the norm? I'll have to check out your threads, ttodd. I've been super busy the last few weeks, and going non-stop since last November. DD2 got a contract on her townhouse in less than a week, closed in three and moved to a new home DH and I have been helping her paint, redoing cabinets, buying furniture, working in the yard...etc...etc...etc. Hoping to have it presentable enough soon to feature in a post on AM. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. The weather in Alabama is fabulous!

coolmama, I posted those words, and I meant that TOW (or sometimes the SKs) cannot break up a good marriage without help from, in this case, the BioDad. A good marriage can withstand the temptations of TOW. The "content" relationships that you've known were obviously not that content. If the attentions of another woman are enough to cause a husband to nit pick his wife, then he was already unhappy in his marrage. Yes, TOW may have precipitated events, but the husband was already discontent. It almost sounds like you are saying the husband is blameless, that he is just the puppet of some brazen hussie intent on breaking up marriages. That just isn't the case. The husband has to be a willing participant to break up his marriage, and that means it is as much his fault as TOW's, if not more, since he had the greater responsibility to his marrige and family. I'm not saying that TOW is blameless. I am saying she is not the only one to blame. And I do know what I am talking about. You see, my ex couldn't resist the temptations of other women. I don't blame the other women for that - that was his weakness and character flaw.
