Ok Kirk, so I was out today at a Flea Market and ran into Nathans 2nd grade teacher. She was a vendor at the flea market and had various collectables on her table. Two jumped out at me--a rainbow cobalt bird and a red cardinal bird---both glass and signed. I got them each for $2 (what a deal, huh?). So I did a search for them since one had a sticker saying it was from Terra Studios. Well, each one is worth about $10 each. I STILL will use them in totems for sure....because that's what I do. Then I remembered your birdbath birds and searched on Terra Studios website and found your exact birds there. So, I don't know how much you paid, hopefully less than from the studio itself. Adorable!! Love the colors for her!! My Garden Ladies have so far been clear. You definitely will need something flat and large on the bottom to keep her from being tipped over. I mostly use microwave trays that I pick up at GW. They can be covered with mulch or dirt. Here are a couple of my Garden Ladies that I've covered the bottom plates on. Seal well with silicone, so they don't sweat. Ladies don't like to sweat! LOL Mine are a couple of years old and holding up well. I do take them in for our winters here in Ohio. They're a lot taller than they look here! LOL Poor angle...and a tall planter! Poor lighting too...you hardly even notice the little one in the top part of the planter! ~Sandy~

I have some that I bought a while back that are made of porcelain pottery material that has been fired that I am going to make a fountain out of if my hubby will ever help me finish it. We have all the parts ready have drilled all the holes basically have to put it all together with the pump in the big basin. I am determined to get him to help me on that project very soon so it can go in the atrium. My neighbor said she would help me if he didn't. I have wanted some type of water feature in the atrium since we moved here. Jasdip I know some of the people on garden junkers talk about drilling holes in theirs so it probably could be done, I would be terrified of shattering the glass. My husband was saying it would be really pretty with tiny lights inside too. Big Lots had for Christmas these tiny tiny lights on a strand with a battery pack they were about the size of a match head. I knew I should have picked some of those up on clearance! LOL
