About me: I have just completed a 40 hr Master Garden course given by the NC Extension Service, Dare County Nc. I am now to complete 40 more hours of training to become a certified Master Gardener. I have lived on the outerbanks for the past 10 years as a resident, I recently lost my husband of 48 years and this is my way of coping with life. The Outer Banks is a very interesting place to garden, sand, salt spray, wind, hurricanes just to mention of few of the handicaps, but no other place like it. I currently live with my son and my cat, work as a volunteer at a thrift store that is connected to our local Hotline ( domenstic abuse/shelter/crisis counseling etc.] I just purchased a Mona Lavender and came across the site when I was researching the plant. I have questions about it. Hope you can help.
