I've been salvating over all these amazing boxes here... Linlee's, Hazie's, Shrty's

I finally found one to do

I'm just having WAY too much fun with Clay!

I love the green!! You're doing a fantastic job with the clay, the ones on the front look like they were fired in a kiln. I love how they look with the glass!

Already commented via e-mail, but again, I'm so impressed w/your handmade tiles. Every time I see these handmade tiles, I want a kiln, but I just can't see me getting into another hobby timewise. I'm afraid it would take on a life and take too much time away from mosaics. I LOVE the blocks, and w/not have thought of covering the holes w/plates. Thanks for that idea. LOVE this forum for ideas and inspiration.

Thanks for the compliments ladies! I'm going to use this box to keep my makeup in. Thought it was a pretty way to hide some of the clutter. I'm also going to do a kinda, sorta, somewhat, matching one to keep nail polish and stuff in. I am going to cover the whole box, but I don't think I'm going to do it all in china. Not sure what the plan is yet, I'm just making it up as I go. I'll keep ya posted! Cindy

You are perfecting your art, for SURE. LOVE the arms. What treasure is held by the hands - can't quite make it out. And, BTW, you did a fantastic job of molding those arms, too, especially around whatever treasure the hands hold. Doncha just love the combination of clay w/other things? Whatcha gonna put in your box?

Goodmorning! the arms are hold a green half gem (I cut it for a flat side against the clay.

DD is already expressing an interest in having this.

I love the colors you are using. Amazing the things you can make with the tile,it does look like fired ceramic.

I finished it up this am. Grout was charcoal with green colorant added. I taped off the clay and hinges. sewed and glued a liner in and painted the lip

That turned out just beautifully, N.T. You are an amazingly talented little girl. It's so neatly done, and the colored grout is PERFECT.
