The furniture looks fine to me. If it is in good condition, you can probably just buy new cushions to make the pieces match or blend better with each other. I would rearrange. Put the loveseats perpendicular to each other and arrange the chairs next to each other. The primary loveseat (facing the view) should have end tables on each side. I agree that a new rug would make a big difference. Nice porch!

D Walldell - sorry for late response. Funny you should ask. I didn’t end up purchasing anything back when I originally posted this because I couldn’t make a decision. However we just ordered outdoor furniture from Yardbird this past week as a showroom opened up in our area and I was able to see it in person. Ordered a wicker resin outdoor set with cushions as well as a dining table. They make individual covers for all their pieces that are apparently pretty water resistant and get great reviews. We don’t actually have the furniture yet but I can update with how we like it. I had originally planned on a polywood set from Berlin Gardens so we could feel more comfortable leaving it out in the winter, but I didn’t find it as attractive and adding up everything I wanted to purchase including deep seating, dining, covers etc it was going to be close to $25K which was too risky for me if I didn’t absolutely love the look of it. I think the actual polywood brand has some attractive and more modern pieces, but you have to order online and put together yourself.

I live less than 1/2 mile from the ocean in south Florida , and have a pool with a salt system. I have had Gloster teak furniture for 24 years which has held up well, but needs to be cleaned and treated to not turn silver grey. I don’t bother with that any more, just let it weather. Less than 4’ from the pool edge, I have a 24 year old restoration hardware aluminum dining set, the coat on the furniture is chipping, but the metal underneath is fine. I’m going to get it recoated. I also have Ebel all-weather wicker furniture, (2017) which has held up and is easy to hose off. The only material I have had trouble with is wrought iron, that always eventually rots out in this climate. I love the classic look of teak, but the aluminum and all weather wicker is much easier to keep looking new.

I have bought patio chairs from All Modern. I bought Fermob which are powder-coated steel and made in France. It looks like they are pretty much sold out now. I am not familiar with Farrah, but they are plastic and resin according to the information about them. I would read the reviews and decide from those if you like the chairs. I think you can buy decent umbrellas from lots of places, so I would go with a place that also sells replacement canopies for their umbrellas, just in case. I have no complaints about the chairs I bought from AllModern, but I was already very familiar with the Fermob brand and knew they were comfortable and long lasting. I paired them with a teak table from another store.
