Gil, For those of us with old film cameras you might want to add the tip Laurie shared with me about using the Image Resizer from Microsoft Powertools to shrink scanned photos off our hard drives before posting them. It was easy and quick to download and use. The link is posted near the end of the "the newgirl" thread. The home page is microsoft.com. Also, you might want to direct them to the test forum!! I still haven't used all the stuff in my last Tesserae exchange, I'll have to go look, I think I got some of this stuff! I already have a pasta machine(never used it yet, I'd be big as a house!LOL!)may have to donate to the experiment! OH heck...I'm skedaddling back to my throne now..Slow....

I am a big fan of the Windows Power Toy Resizer - and the clone for Windows 7! I am using the one for Windows 7 right now.... I choose MEDIUM for the size of the picture I am posting here. One of the really nifty things with using that gadget is that you don't have to open an software. You can go right from the "browse" window that opens - right click on the image you want resized, choose the resizer and the size to make it, and it automatically does it and renames it. It pops up a couple seconds later and you can click on it to select. It is certainly the easiest and fastest option out there!!!!

Tends to be a bit slower for mutiple pic posting than it was three weeks ago but also works better if I hit the space bar once or twice after each pic selected to edit or add comments after all pic's are selected. Cant wait to see em Kathi (but will) hang in there. Just like X amount of years ago my adult aged children are still better and faster at computers that I am.
