I'm baaaaack!! Missed me??

In case you didn't notice, I havn't been around the past few months (lol). My computer died in March and I had to redo my favorites listing, learn this new program, etc. I knew I was missing something every morning when I logged in and today I realized what it was - That Home Site!! I have missed talking to yall.

I still have to go through all the posts so I can see what everyone is up to. I have a few pics to post but today I will only post this latest tote - I just finished yesterday for my etsy shop. I took a pencil class last month and I haven't taken pictures yet - and I can say it was fun but not my thing. I have been messing around with my oil paints again. I am taking a class with Glorida Perkins this month and one with Brenda Harris next month. Our local painting chapters are hosting them and I like supporting the other clubs. Plus, I get a chance to paint with friends again.

My! My! Have you been gone? You better bet you have been missed!!!!! Things have gotten really slow around here lately and I have to accept my share of the blame. And I can't even blame SPRING....what spring? we are still being rained on daily, but the temp is back in the 60's by day and the 40's by night. When it does clear up for a day or two we also get frost, so no plants yet.

Hope your computer problems are fixed and that you share soon!

As always your roses are super!!! I really like the tote and how you use a shade on the edges to tie it all together. Very nice.

How about posting your Esty link again, can't find where I save it on my computer.....darn! I have been reading where the ArtFire store is really hot, but no personal knowledge about it, just post on other groups.

The first thing to check is that each of the electric valves is not open manualy. This is fairly easy to check by making sure the solenoid is tight and if it has it, close the external bleed screw. If that doesn't clear up the problem you may need an irrigation specilist to check the valves.

The problem I see is that downlighting, as the only source of artificial light, is usually considered a poor choice in a bathroom. Over the vanity downlighting is a particularly poor choice. It won't evenly illuminate a person's face at the mirror and creates shadows, making it difficult to apply make-up or to clearly see one's reflection. A much better choice would be two wall mounted sconces, one on either side of the mirror, or if two fixtures aren't possible, then a single light fixture above the mirror. You want general ambient light at a vanity, providing illumination in all directions, not just light shining down in a single direction, as you'll get with can fixtures. Recessed cans are fine in others areas of the bathroom, but are not a good choice at the vanity.

Thanks everyone.It's nice to know I was missed!LOL Cathy-don't know what was going on with the IM.My grands were on my computer all the time while I was gone.Don't know it they may have done something to cause it.Who knows.I have really missed you too.I was just thinking about you the other day and wishing I could chat with you. OK I have lots of pictures but I need to download them to my computer and as you all know I am illiterate in that department so it may take some time.LOL I will get some on as soon as possible. I have been feeling really crappy this week.I ended up going to the doctor Thursday with this abscess.My jaw was swollen about the size of my fist so I thought it was time to do something else because obviously the second antibiotic wasn't working either! LOL He lanced it and drained it and put in a drain tube,gave me an intravenous antibiotic and another antibiotic to take by mouth.I go back tomorrow to take out the drain then I guess we will see if they will be able to pull the tooth Tues. as planned.I'm thinking probably not because there is still a lump under the jaw bone about the size of a very small egg.I think it is maybe a cyst from the infection.I guess we will see tomorrow.Yall pray for me.This is getting old!LOL Will check back later..............Lillie

Hi Bebe, I just saw and responded to your post over on Holidays. Glad all is well now and you will be able to come chat with us more often. So with your computer not working, did you actually find more time for painting???? LOL

Your tote and plaque are so lovely. Your rose designs are always so perfect! And I love how you did the stripes on the plaque, such nice soft shades of color too.

Don't stay away so long now, I need a good "kick" to get me back in the painting groove, so come "motivate" me, okay? ;o)

Belle, maybe Spring/Summer is just going to start later for you now--but maybe it will last later too! One can only hope right? ;o)
