Stained Glass & Mosaics

I'm baaaaack...sort of...

Didja miss me?? We've gotten moved into The Barnhouse, which is terrific, but we've had computer issues ever since. We finally have a "real" telephone line again instead of the temporary one run through the trees from the old house, but it's still just laying on top of the ground until they get out to bury it. I've BARELY been working on mosaics, got my tp tower repainted last night. I was going to start putting tiles on it, then discovered that the streaky paint shows through some of my stained glass, so decided to paint it again first. But it's a start, the only one I've had in weeks. We are SO busy right now. We will start picking strawberries for real in a week or so (Yikes!) that's the busiest few weeks of the year for us on the berry farm! But I'll try to get some updates in now and then. I still want to get an album in of The Barnhouse to share with you. Soon, I hope!

Yes, I'd wondered how the barnhouse was coming along. Mmmm, strawberries sound good, especially if they're coated in chocolate. :)

I wouldn't wish any kind of surgery on anyone, JYG, but I have to say, I had no concept of how debilitating FOOT surgery is. You can't do ANYTHING. It's walkers just to get to the bathroom, and wheelchairs for everything else. And mostly it is sitting for hour upon hour with your foot elevated and iced. I couldn't even let the dogs out by myself. On the plus side, I read close to 50 books over the past 8 weeks, and that was fun. I could read all day and not feel guilty about neglecting the chores. And of course, the chores were all right there waiting for me when I got better! *grin* I HAD hoped house fairies would make them all go away, but that didn't happen. *sniff* Thanks, you guys. I've really appreciated all the comments! I'm so happy to be able to do at least a little bit outside. I have made cuttings from about 45 plants now, so that's a good start. Marcia

Lindy, No... its debt, not income. You don't get to "keep it"... you have to pay it back (but you do get to deduct the mortgage interest, most likely.) NOW... keep those credit cards zero-balanced from here ;~) Cheers, Dave Donhoff Leverage Planner

OH Having a barn house has always been a REAL consideration for hubby and I. Can't wait to see pictures of how you have it all arranged. Glad you are sort of back. Glad you are moved and REALLY glad you will be getting into working on more mosaic for inspiration!!
