Creamy white kitchen color of trim and coffered ceiling?

Hi all,

We are planning a creamy white inset kitchen in our 1912 Edwardian style house. The kitchen will be open to the dining room that has built-in cabinets. I am thinking of painting the built-ins the same color as the kitchen cabinets. But I am confused about the trim color in the kitchen and dining room (and the rest of the house).

There is tall wainscoting in the dining room as well as a coffered ceiling.

1) Do you think the trim and wainscoting should be a brighter/pure white to contract with the cabinet color or should it match the cabinets?

2) The beams on the ceiling in the dining room are not painted  and this is the only trim left in the house that is not painted. We originally planned to paint it the same color as the trim color, but I guess it has grown on us and now we are considering keeping it dark.

Here are the plans of the house and some pictures to help you visualize.

Just realized you can't see the wainscoting in this pic of the diningroom... I don't think I have a good pic of it, but it there will be wainscoting on either side of the door from the main entry hall and it goes up approx. 2/3 of the wall.

Thanks everyone!
