But...dang it....I never could find it! As to the title, I thought that it was somewhat improper, but figured that changing the Richard to Dick ... and both that and the "dead" beginning with "d", and being four-letter words, that it fit. And - it certainly targetted a good(?) portion of the conversation in the other thread. And I thought that there was some poetic justice in the confirmation being the last word - thought that would make Richard laugh! On the next day, I could access the site ... but when I tried to open the box to make a comment ... I was rejected. I went to my emails, to see whether I'd received another "gentle reminder" ... but no such message was evident. I wondered about writing to Tammy to request info, or object, etc. ... and wondered about signing in with another name, supposing that I might be allowed. - but didn't. On the following day, I could access as usual, so wonder what was going on. I haven't heard of someone being blocked for a day, and with no explanation, so it may have been some glitch in the system (probably was). Of such is life, I guess. ole joyful

Yes you can remove it. It is exactly what you said: a post that turns into a fountain. You unscrew it from the tub. Often these are plumbed with a valve at the equipment pad so that you can turn it on or off with the valve. If that is the case, just leave the valve off and you are set. If not then you might need to get a plug to screw into the opening in the bottom of the tub.

Thanks both for your comments! I'd love to tear down the entire thing and start over, and build a proper one because this one was just designed and built so poorly. Not sure I'll actually go through with that as of yet, but glad to know that it's unsafe to remove the 'extra' posts. The posts aren't even 8' tall, they're around 82", so I have some thinking to do about this area...
