DO NOT CHANGE the user folder name manually. If you do, you will have a lot of problems with that user account since everything is still referenced to the original C:\Users\(user name) folder name. The only way to change the C:\Users\(user name) folder name is to either create a new user account and delete the old account, or reinstall Vista." I've never understood how "Editing" would work. For instance, if I say something and a few minutes later decide I should have said something else, then go back and change what I said, many others have already responded to the original, so doesn't that upset the apple cart? We need to be our own Editor. I do type my message in Word if it is a long message and then C&P it into the thread. Also, if you use your Spellcheck feature, you will see there is an error and can fix it, which BTW, eliminates the need for the SP? thingy I didn't see Pattie's error either. Sorry I missed it if it was humorous. If you are prone to typos, take a minute to correct it. What bothers me the most is the lack of punctuation, which makes a long message hard to decipher. Most folks here probably use Photoshop. It's pretty simple. If you don't have it, a lot of times someone else (like me) is willing to Photoshop your options into a photo of your kitchen. I'd be happy to do that. Here are some things to remember when taking photos of your kitchen and backsplash options... It's easier if the photo of your kitchen is from "straight on" rather than at any angle. Pick a good spot or the spot you're most interested in seeing the backsplash in place and shoot that spot from dead on with your camera at about counter height or a little above. Then get images of your backsplash in the same way, with the tile as parallel to the camera lens as possible. There are some things that can be done in Photoshop to square things up but it makes for extra steps. It's also easiest if the countertop area is free of the coffee maker or other small appliances. Bebet, I got your email in reply to my public post here on the forum, but I choose to have very little private interaction with forum members. What I wish to say, I will say publicly. One thing I will say publicly is you need to stop apologizing for existing. In a three sentence email, you managed to say "sorry" four times. Nothing you said "offended" me - I was just trying to boost you into taking some action to help yourself. As with all public forums, you can take the advice or not. Especially on this forum, no one is trying to bully you. I still stand by what I said, though. This forum and its members can encourage you, but only you can change your life. I personally think living with someone who won't allow you to drive, controls all the money, complains over $10 spent on feminine hygiene - that's abusive. That was my point in the first thread. I stand by it. I would never allow anyone to treat me that way.
