OMG! I never heard of this, but we have been doing the tradition of the Elves during the month of December since my kids were in pre-school. I came up with the idea of having the Elves make a quick stop at our car while we were at Mass, so my kids would sit ever so quietly and pay attention because they didn't want to run the Elves off,lol Then we would get to the car and lo and behold, the Elves had left them a small present. Nothing expensive though, just a little thought. This made for a very peaceful, quiet Christmas Eve, and they would almost be in a hurry to fall asleep so Santa could come :-). Mari

I bought the elf and book last year for my 2 grand kids, they loved it. Their mother moves it every night to a new location, on a shelf, on top of curtains and kitchen cabinet tops. The book explains what the elf does.
