"Sugar free" does not mean that a product is "carbohydrate free" and often times does very little less 'damage' to a diabetics diet than eating the regular stuff. Many that watch their sugar/carb intake would rather eat a little less of something that tastes like it should. That being said: You should be able to find individually wrapped sugar free hard candies that are pretty good. Look in grocery stores that carry hard candies in bulk...not prepackaged, although I am sure some of it is good. . Check the website below for Miss Meringue Cookies. You can get the nutrition info on both SF and with sugar. When we can get them, my DH loves the regular meringues with sugar. Just 3 or 4 of these little gems at about 2 carbs per can satisfy the biggest sweet tooth. The sugar free ones arent as good, but still ok. I should also mention - the sunrisebakery version of them is not exactly like the original. It's tasty but the cake is more like angelfood cake and the filling is softer. If you really want something close to the original ones you'll probably have to make them yourself.

These are really good. little smokies sausage ( the little miniature ones) bacon brown sugar wrap bacon around little smokie, roll in brown sugar lay them on a broiler pan cook in oven till bacon is crispy or done to your liking. I set my oven around 350 or so. Spear them on a toothpick I like the small cut up pieces of beef sticks, you can buy those by the package in beef or turkey. I put a piece of those and a cheese cube together on a toothpick, if I have them I add a seedless grape. The flavors are great together. I find those packages of the beef stick pieces either where the beef jerky is in some stores they have it in the refrigerated area near the cheese.
