I've had good luck with many different brands & types- it seems like the key or common ingredients are shea butter (miraculous) goat's milk lanolin vitamins A & E aloe I've had excellent results using aloe straight from the plant for a lot of problems other than burns. Last week I had an insect bite that turned red, got chapped, flaked, & *itched* like fire. I tried every single remedy in the medicine cabinet with no effect, & then... I accidentally broke off an aloe vera leaf. Figuring I didn't have anything to lose, I squeezed the fluid onto the spot & the itch stopped immediately & the place started to heal.

My all time favorites are kai (ONLY the lotion or oil, the EdP loses a GREAT deal of the charm) for summer and Jalaine's Patchouli for winter. I qualify for perfumista, as I could also give you my top thirty, and own about 150. I will SO be trying Spring Fever today. Any perfume that inspires such loyality is a big gap in my sniffing hobby! A quick search on my perfume forum Note- Artemesia, mandarin, apple, watermelon, marigold, linden blossom, cypress The quick thing I find you might like also, is a travel exclusive from Estee Lauder called Emerald Dream. Top Notes * Tangerine, Apricot, Honeysuckle, Blue Basil. Middle Notes * Mediterranean Mimosa, Violet, Blue Florentine Iris, Emerald Orchid, Plum, Marigold, Cyclamen. Base Notes * Beach Skin Accord, Blue Cypresswood, Sandalwood, Hawaiian Kamani Wood. I've never smelled either one of them, but I know blue basil won't give you quite the aromatic bite of artemsia, and the apricot/cyclamen won't give quite the wet fruit appeal of apple and watermelon. The violet/iris is going to give some powder but who knows to what extent. Notes like "Beach skin accord" probably means a clean, salty musk. The mimosa is what might get you--similiar in feel to linden, a green floral note of spring. And of course the wood heavy base. Overall, I'd guess a bit more of an attempt at 'Early Summer Fever'? If you ever get a chance, try Mimosa pour Moi by L'Artisan. It's spring in a bottle to me--but not wet or woody. The base is vanilla musk.

Roselver - I don't have any Honeysuckle. Don't think I ever smelled that one. I went through and tossed the ones that were 8+ years old. I'll try and find someone who can use the others. I just can't bring myself to throw them out if they're new or almost new. Did want to clarify I haven't been adding to the collection. They've been gifts from other people. Couldn't tell you the last time I bought any of the above. I have had people tell me they go fast at yard sales which still amazes me. I had one yard sale ever and I swore never again. It wasn't worth it. About 10 years ago BBW used to have a glitter lotion (was in the kid section) called Berry Go Round. Yum, yum, yum I love the smell of that stuff. I have a little in the bottle and won't chuck it because it smells so awesome.

Carol - I'm praying that Holly gets that job which doubles her salary. People with Asperger's are VERY CONCIENTIOUS worker and she deserves it with her dedication. I get tired of melt-downs in my 20-year-old daughter with Asperger's, that I googled "how to reverse Asperger's", and folks mentioned about eliminating dairy and gluten (in bread). Daughter doesn't like bread, and she is lactose-intolerant with milk, but zero problems with yogurt. From Straw: sunflower seeds and oatmeal are high in vitamin B6. I need to make rolls or pancakes with those. She's more flexible with her routine and doing well with chelated B6 and magnesium supplement, plus more talkative.
