Thanks for all the sweet comments! Linda, the sock monkey is one of my favs too, as well as the Easter basket. I did it for my son's girlfriend this past Sept., she collects sock monkeys. By far the hardest one has been my son's life sized Fender Strat guitar cake. That one took some time. Calamity, I love Duff, have you seen Cake Boss with Buddy Valastro? I think I like his work even better than Duff's. Sunnyca, yes it's rolled fondant. I make my own from scratch, as well as the frosting and the cake. I'm terrified of Royal Icing, I am going to have to try that one day :)

That sweater is really cute. Good job. Janie_Ga, I'm with you. I've decided to make a sweater at least one size bigger than they are when I start. Between my sloweness, their growing and the change of seasons here(MA) it's a challenge to get it right. So far, so good(I've only done one sweater - made it last spring and GS wore it this fall/winter. It was a bit big at first but, he's three and growing by leaps and bounds each month, so he'll probably grow out of by this spring).
