looking for stickers

I am trying to locate Michigan State and University of Michigan stickers. I need fairly small ones as I am replacing the numbers on a clock with the stickers. I have searched so many places and just can't find them. I hope someone can help me out. THANKS

Have you tried calling the bookstore and gift shops for the universities? My university always carried a few stickers. Sometimes I'd also find them at the local sporting goods store where they sell t-shirts.

Also, you might find some clipart from the university web sites and print it out on your computer. You could decopage this on the clock face. I don't think you would have a problem with logo or trademark infringement as long as you were weren't selling it and were keeping it for personal use.

have you tried just cutting and pasting the clipart, and making your own stickers with a xyron? if you don't have a xyron, they have a small one, it looks like an x, and you make your own stickers, it is so much fun and works great!! good luck!

I was just over at Perlick's website looking at Factory Seconds (I have one already) and I noticed that there are some WITH wood doors and some that have doors that you can panel. You can make your own stickers...find some sites on the computer and copy and paste any picture that you want...I do this all the time. Office Max has whole-sheet sticker paper with a transparent background...this works well on your white or light colored album pages. Wal-Mart has whole-sheet white sticker paper that you could use on colored pages...you just have to be a little neater when cutting them out. I did some pages this way featuring Veggie Tales and Hello Kitty...any picture you find (almost) can be copied and pasted. I either put them on a floppy disk or into My Documents and then use them from there....

Shelby American - authentic racing fuel pump?

I have a hunch that some lettering has been applied to an ordinary pump. AO Smith was the company that converted Mustangs into Shelby GTs and KRs for Ford, and yes, they also made these pumps at one time (a quick look around the web suggests that this one is from the late 1950s) and today are big in the water-heater business. The cars that Smith converted were street models, not race cars. Even if Shelby used a regular gas station-pump at some racing facility (which I doubt, especially since racing is a sport that moves from place to place), I have a feeling that it wouldn't be marked in such a way that screams such obviousness like this. I suspect that some Shelby enthusiast added these markings to doll-up the pump for his memorabilia collection.
