Bitten off more than I can chew?

Hi Folks

Well last I posted was about stripes - making toile of that jacket today.

I didn't get finishing my black wool hand tailored jacket (I say mine, but it's a gents for a friend) at college last term, was off ill. So my tutor has very kindly allocated me his Mondays until the end of September for me to come up and finish it. Whatever hand sewing etc remains to be done for the next week is a priority and this week there was only a little so got it done by Wednesday.

Then I've got my stripe jacket and another almost the same, but Flamingo print, for my mad best friend (she has flamingo print shoes if you can believe!?).

And yesterday I went with another friend and her partner, who recently moved into their first flat, to buy curtain fabric.

It's a factory discount place but even so for all 4 rooms (with BIG windows, 15ft ceilings) they spent a total of 389!!!!!!

Now I have 38metres of fabric and another 38 of 'SuperLining' to cope with.

You are thinking I'm mad, aren't you? It gets worse. I've only ever made 1 pair of curtains in my life! (and they weren't that big, no matching)

Any words of wisdom for me???

AJ
