fyi, the rims can be painted after installation. Charliedawg, our plugs are perfect. With the lakeview, fireplace, tv, open kitchen and arches to DR and foyer, there is really only one natural place for our sofa. I knew we wanted to put a sofa table behind it, so we left room for that and enough room to walk between table and the cedar posts at the kitchen opening. The electrician said there was no rush since the plugs were going into the main level, which is second story, so we were able to wait until house was framed to decide exactly where they were going. DH and I used empty boxes to place where the sofa and measured to make sure there was enough room behind for table. We have the Silgranit single bowl, right sided drain in Metallic Grey. LOVE it. Moen Arbor Motionsense faucet centered, soap to right and disposer air switch on far right. If food bits don't all go down I just use the pull-down sprayer and spritz out the sink. The sink is slightly angled down toward the drain so it seems to work fairly well. I made the decision to go with the Silgranit after lurking here on Garden Web for months and I am so glad I took the advice of the many wise contributors. I had purchased another faucet but changed my mind and am so happy with the Motionsense. It is amazing... Good luck! Ps--this is prior to the window trim going in and the cabinet doors and drawer faces being installed. We're about 90% finished with our reno. :)

Lizardhandz I am glad to hear that someone is using similar (in this case I would say 'the same' :) mix! I hope you'll have excellent result with it. I grow all succulents in it, and even few smaller potted tropical plants. I would use it for big ones too but big pots get heavy with so much grit. Color of your mix is very nice too - it depends on color of chicken grit a lot. What I bought in past, was white. Latest bag has some grayish speckles to it - it comes from different supplier I was told. Your plant has beautiful color. It is supposedly xPachysedsedum of uncertain origin, with one of the parents possibly S. craigii (responsible for color of leaves). It is suppose to grow several stems from the base, so I wonder if yours may be inflorescence? But it looks more like leaves, so maybe not. In case it blooms, pls. post photos! And do so even if it doesn't bloom :)
